Overview

Newcastle City Council has set out a number of housing priorities in the Housing Statement 2017 – 20. One is to deliver new homes to create greater choice and to include older person’s accommodation and specialist housing for a range of client groups who require high level care and support.

The scheme will deliver an assisted living scheme with 45 one and two-bedroom apartments and nine, two-bedroom bungalows.

Predominantly a former pre-war housing estate, the majority of the wider site has been cleared and remediated.
