Overview

A Sunderland City Council-led development, Albert Place in Washington, is underway.

The scheme will see four new fully adapted bungalows, designed for people with physical disabilities built on site, helping to meet the needs of residents across the city.

Designed by JDDK, the smart homes will make use of cutting-edge technology to enable residents to live independently and are set to be completed by summer 2021.

Tolent is currently delivering the council's first council homes in more than 40 years at Cork Street and five two-bedroom bungalows for affordable rent for over 55s at Boult Terrace
