Raithwaite Hall was the first 5-star hotel on the North Yorkshire coast. It is a boutique 45-bed hotel set in 85 acres of wooded valleys set within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
Based around a Georgian and Victorian era country house, the hotel offers terraced views of the landscape in all directions.
The Keep at Raithwaite is the second phase of the Raithwaite Hall Estate development and added a further 28 bedroom hotel to the existing 45 bedroom Raithwaite Hall. Located within the Estate grounds, The Keep is bright and spacious with a bar, restaurant and function space.
The building itself features a turreted facade, hidden gutters, feature artstone and an arched main entrance to provide a castle appearance. It is constructed of traditional red brick masonry with a traditional slated roof. All the windows are a traditional timber sash type. The building is powered by biomass boilers using copiced wood from the local national park
