Overview

Halbeath Retail Park comprises 9 units (A1 class) providing a total of 155,903 sq ft of prime retail space situated on the outskirts of Dunfermline.

Tolent was responsible for part of the retail park’s original construction in the 1990s, but most recently undertook the c.£3m refurbishment and expansion project which culminated in c.40,000 sq ft of modern retail spaces being provided across 7 units.

The scheme transformed the retail park and addressed the requirement for new, high quality retail units in Dunfermline.The development was constructed on behalf of Royal London Asset Management to their complete satisfaction, with minimal impact to the daily operations of the retail park.

The new units were occupied, post completion, by a number of national retailers, including: Carpet Right, Currys/PC World, Argos and Pets at Home. The other retail units were already occupied throughout construction by retailers,including: Homebase, B&M and Harvey's. All works were compliant with Scottish Building Control/Regulations.

The refurbishment and expansion project at Halbeath Retail Park demonstrates Tolent’s ability to deliver 40,000 sq ft of modern retail space in a live retail environment; sequencing works to minimise noise and disruption.
