Doxford Park Regeneration
Project Details
This development provided a mixture of tenure and dwelling type, including landscaping and all other associated infrastructure, transforming the previously dilapidated, unpopular estate into new affordable homes that better serve the health and wellbeing of its residents.
In total, c.838 dwellings from the existing 1960s estate were demolished, with a large scale decanting exercise undertaken for incumbent residents. To date c.400 new homes have been built across 7 distinct phases with a further 2 phases planned, which will complete the regeneration project.
New homes have been built to CfSH Level 3 and 4, with an extra care apartment block achieving BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
